In April Young Excellence in Healthcare (YEH) met up with decision makers from all angles of the market: political influencers, and managers from divers industry sectors were invited to discuss current and future trends in healthcare.
The meeting benefited from its sponsors support. Namely Adlon Holding, Bertelsmann Arvato Healthcare, DocMorris Mail-Order-Pharmacy, HAL Allergy and Teva ratiopharm bolstered the YEH meeting both financially as well as through demission of excellent speakers sparking diverse debates. Participants were welcomed to the Berlin event with an exclusive dinner and political networking gathering at Berlins most famous hotel location, the Adlon. But, despite glamorous locations the focus of the event remained in networking and inspiring exchange of ideas.
“We provide young decision makers from different sectors of the pharma industry an exclusive platform for mutual exchange and inspiration”, emphasises Dr. Kristian Koch, who in conjunction with Dr. Philipp Götting, Sarah Hoffmann and Alexander Almerood, co-founded YEH.
In its form YEH is unique in its character, purpose and – most importantly – participants. Certainly a highlight was the inspiring debate with the General Manager of Teva ratiopharm Germany, Dr. Markus Leyck Dieken. Within the ‘holy halls’ of Teva´s capital office in Berlin presented Mr Leyck Dieken hypotheses about the mega trends in pharmaceutical research, manufacturing and marketing, leading to an open and inspiring controversy with the selected participants of Young Excellence in Healthcare.
